I've don't know if I've ever been a big Gene Wilder fan, but I did love this book in particular. I didn't even know he wrote any novels. It's cheeky, romantic, scary, and historic. Focusing on the Nazi regime in London, and Europe....two people fall in love during this hard time. It's quite beautiful.
Second, I finished the debut novel of Cheryl Strayed. Gorgeous is all I can say. It's connected to me with like Into the Wild has. A person lost in life, looking towards nature to reconnect with themselves and their life. It sounds like myself a lot.
I do recommend both of these books and even watching the Wild movie adaptation. It was very good with beautiful cinematography.
