Today was spent with my two best friends from college, Cristina and Beatriz. We took the subway down to Little Italy to explore and fine brunch. We ran into this great bookstore called the Housingworks Bookstore Cafe.
Housing Works is a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Thier mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services, and entrepreneurial businesses that sustain thier efforts.
I bought this gorgeous Italian/graphic novel, Sofie E Abou. I read it all the way home that night.
It's one of the first places the Black Keys played.
The rest of the day we went dress shopping for our graduation and my gallery opening.

Once we found our dresses, we headed up to the Upper West End in search of dinner and the smallest park (Septuagesimo Uno Park) in New York City. It was made famous in the movie "Little Manhattan".
After a good 45 mins of looking, we finally found it.
