St. Ives Vbox!

This lovely box came today! I picked it up on the way back from the gym and took it straight to the shower with me! 

Even & Bright Body Wash - Smells delightful and is a light exfoliating gel. 

Nourished &Smoothing Scrub/Mask - It's an oatmeal scrub perfect for the winter weather that has just begun! It also smells good and it's light enough that it's okay to use on my acne and sensitive skin. 

Refresh & Revive Lotion - Now, I'm pretty picky about my lotions because of my skin. But this one is nice. It smells like pears and it's light. I might like it better for a summer lotion.....but for winter, not so much. It's still a great product regardless! 

Skin Troubles: Trying to Heal

Ever since I was 10 years old acne has been my enemy. At some points it was okay, but always a problem. Most of my memories of acne revolve around horror. Cysts, blackheads, whiteheads, dryness, redness, etc. The whole thing is/was a mess. 

Along side of that, I have a lot of health problems, I can see that my skin benefits (in a bad way) from that. And it may have been my problem all these years. 

I've tried drugstore brands, Proactive, and going to the dermatologist. Accutane is a no go considering I'm a spoonie and have enough problems. So where was I to go now??? I'm 25 and it's still here.

LUSH, is a place that has come into my life late. Actually, natural/organic products has come late to my knowledge and I've been changing how I live my life in that way. Let me tell you, it's been good and super nice on my spoonie life.

So, here is my daily face routine! 

In the morning I start off by just wiping my face with Simple Micellar Water! If any spoonie knows, it's hard to get going in the morning. I even save my showers for at night when my body tends to be more functional! This stuff though, you don't even need to wash off! Just wipe with a cotton ball and you're good! 

Now for my nighttime routine.

 I use Lush Fresh Farmacy first, then finish up with Ultrabland for hydration! In my last review of Lush, I mentioned Fresh Farmacy being a tad over drying for me, but it helps my blemishes better because of the tea tree oil. It also doesn't make my skin all red after using it! The Ultrabland's beeswax base helps lock in the moisture without making your face greasy. You can also use it as a makeup remover! 

Lastly, once a week I use a mask. I currently use this one below, but I do like Lush masks, they just don't last as long. Lush masks are like a treat!

All in all, it is about testing what works for you. And I found that getting away from chemicals was the best choice for me as a spoonie and for my sensitive skin. 

RARE: Product Review

I have reviews for two companies. I can hardly compare the two, but it's worth putting out there.

The first products are from Perfectly Posh, Made in the USA and natural ingredients. 

I am obsessed with these chapsticks. One is a Caramel Flavour and the other Coconut Lemongrass. I like that they're small and easy to carry. They are also very light and stay on for awhile.

This product came as a sample to me. Thank god because it was terrible on my skin. I do not recommend this for sensitive skin. It felt like it was burning on my skin! 

This sleepy stick is actually quite nice. I smells great and a little goes a long way! I'm not sure how to apply it though. It doesn't really tell you in the directions, but I put a dab on my wrists. 

Now this bar smells good and my boyfriend already stole it. But it's a bit harsh on my skin. Again sensitive skin all over. But it smells great in the shower!

The second store is Lush, all natural ingredients, made worldwide, vegan, and made fresh daily.

This is a company that I've been going back and back to. My friend Cristina gave me one of their products three years ago and I've fallen in love! 

I can hardly compare these two products, they are equally amazing! But have calamine in them which is soothing and so nice on my face. The Aqua Marina only has a little more moisture in it. And Fresh Farmacy is a bit more tightening on the face. Depends on what you like. 

AND THIS, this is my holy grail. It smells amazing, feels amazing, and holy moisturizing! I love it and want to keep it forever!

 Influenster sent me a new Vbox of the Dessange line for blonde hair.

It lightens my hair and makes it smell super nice. But it does absolutely nothing for my tangled curly hair. NOTHING! In fact, I think it makes it worse. 

Other than that. It was nice to try for a little.
