Hurrah to me! I'm Screen Printer! I'm pretty happy I'm using my degree in some way now. But OH CRAP, I work in a warehouse that is like 90+ degrees at all times.
Didn't really think it through when I said yes to the job. Oops.

Luckily, there is some sort of air conditioning in my room. But it mostly turns back to heat by the time it reaches the other side of the room.
So in honour of my new job, I decided to make a new POTS Info post. What do I take with me to work?
A Lot of Fluids and Gatorade! I take my big 32oz bottle with me and extra packets to keep going!
A heavy duty mask, since I work with chemicals. And chemicals make my body stupid.
Finally, one of those cool wrap things that you wet and are suppose to stay cool for awhile. They're OK. I tend to wet mine and put it in the freezer overnight and it stays colder longer! Also I have two so I can alternate.
Another thing not featured is a salty snack. I like to bring one of those with me too. I also have a stool in my room with me so when I'm working on the computer I can sit and line up jobs before printing. It's a good system to keep me from standing all the time.

As the summer months approach I hope that this method and my body doesn't do stupid things and makes me pass out at work.
